Support Joshua and Maranyundo for the Falmouth Road Race!
Help us reach our goal to support girls to attend the Maranyundo Girls School, a top STEM middle and high school in Rwanda for families that do not have the ability to pay school fees.
This August, I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race, spanning seven miles along the Cape Cod coast. I'm running to support my mother's commitment as a new Board Member of the Maranyundo Initiative.
Growing up, I was inspired by my sister, Marianella Salinas, who attended an immersive exchange program at the Maranyundo Girls School during her time at Westover. After returning from her travels to Rwanda, she spoke about how the Initiative has transformed the lives of its students and shaped them into future leaders.
When my mother joined Maranyundo's board of directors as its secretary, I felt compelled to support the cause as well. She's always emphasized the value of a quality education, and that's exactly what the Maranyundo Initiative provides. I'm proud to dedicate my time to a cause so close to my mother and sister.
