Support Willa and Maranyundo for the Falmouth Road Race!
Help us reach our goal to support girls to attend Maranyundo Girls School, a top STEM middle and high school in Rwanda for families that do not have the ability to pay school fees.
I’m running the 2026 Falmouth Road Race in support of the Maranyundo Initiative.
My mom, Lisa, has been involved with the organization since I was eight. During that time, Maranyundo has expanded from a girls’ middle school into a secondary school serving students through high school, while growing its programs to support more students and teachers across Rwanda. For more than 20 years, I’ve heard stories about the students, their accomplishments, and the impact Maranyundo has had on their lives.
Maranyundo provides young women with access to high-quality, STEM-focused education, opening doors that might otherwise have remained closed. Today, it continues to expand opportunities through scholarships, teacher training, and programs that strengthen education across Rwanda.
This August, I’m running the Falmouth Road Race to support the Maranyundo Initiative. Funds raised will provide scholarships for students whose families cannot afford school fees and support the Maranyundo Training and Learning Center, which equips teachers to reach even more students.
Because of my mom’s involvement, this organization has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m honored to support it in my own way. Thank you for your support in creating opportunities for the next generation of girls and young women in Rwanda.
